Bresfest

Rainford Junction's Bresfest is back for a sixth successive year!  A bluegrass picking weekend in the Lancashire Green Belt.  All your friends will be back and this time we'll be a little bit better organised.  We'll make sure everyone's in the right spot to make sure you have maximum fun.

What's Going On?

This year we'll know you're coming, welcome you at the gate and have a rough idea of where you're going.  It's the same Bresfest but there may be a few more people so we need to be a little bit better organised for health, safety,  privacy and safeguarding reasons.  We'll get you all settled in and make sure we all have enough space for practising alone, playing with friends and playing in the central community space.  All of your favourites are back:

  • Saturday morning workshops

  • Saturday afternoon open mic

  • Slow jams

  • Friday's Battle of The Sessions

  • Saturday Night Gala (in place of our usual band)

  • The late Saturday open jam

  • Sunday morning Gospel session

There will be a lot more going on around Bresfest in 2026, you will all be welcome to join other communities dotted around the festival site and join in the fun.​
