About the event
The highlight of the festival! The marquee is transformed from the Big Session to host the Saturday Night Gala. Five of the finest young bluegrass and old time musicians in the UK lead five different scratch bands made up of twenty of the most promising youngsters below the age of 21. After which we'll be treated to a special one-off performance from the scratch band leaders with special guests. If this wasn't enough it'll be topped off with a special ceremony where funds raised are awarded to all of our scratch band applicants! This is a seated event, we ask our guests to dress to suit the occasion, the smarter the dress the closer to the stage!
